The 4th International Symposium for Materials R&D Data

This symposium aims to facilitate global collaboration on large-scale materials research data by employing harmonized terminologies and schemas aligned with the FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) principles for materials R&D data.

Building on the successes of previous symposia held in 2022(KINTEX, Korea), 2023(Wiesbaden, Germany), and 2024(Jeju, Korea), the 4th symposium will take place in Namiki Site, NIMS, Japan, with a focus on establishing global consensus for FAIR R&D data in materials science.

We will examine current barriers to data sharing, considering not only terminologies but also optimized data structures for efficient, data-driven materials design and analytics. Furthermore, practical aspects of data sharing across various sub-disciplines of materials science will be extensively discussed, aiming to advance global efforts in data sharing.

Renowned speakers are invited from around the world to share their perspectives in the following sessions.
